Hi everyone, hope you're all well. Thanks for visiting today. As promised, the weather was gorgeous on Monday and it was lovely to potter in the garden and enjoy some quiet time. After I'd done the weeding I sat under the parasol and practiced my crocheting - more about that in a bit! I was concentrating so hard (it's not easy to do with hot, sweaty fingers, lol!) I didn't realise one arm was still in the sun and I managed to burn it. It's calmed down a bit now but I looked ridiculous yesterday, lol, and, oh, the itchiness!!
Anyhow, onto my shares for today. My first one is a couple of cards I've made using the Wild Flower Art Pad from
Lili of the Valley that you can see
here. I just love the country cottage feel to these images - they're so beautiful!
I'd like to enter these cards into the following challenges:
My second share is thanks to the lovely
Irene who makes the most beautiful crocheted items. After learning how to make the roses a while ago, I wanted to learn how to make granny squares but I 'gave up' because I just couldn't find a pattern/instructions that I could follow. Irene sent me such a lovely encouraging email, reminded me about a book I'd bought last year and sent me the links to a couple of fab blogs. So, thanks to Irene ..... ta dah!!
My first granny squares!! I've decided to make a cushion for my craft room chair. Hopefully I'll get it made before Christmas, lol! Thanks for all your good advice Irene.
That's it from me for now - I'll be round to catch up with you soon.
