Digistamp Boutique CAS

Hi everybody, hope you're all well. I know that you'll all be feeling as shocked and sickened as I am following the terrible events in Connecticut this week. My heart goes out to all the families - I can't even begin to imagine how you would cope with something like that. Let's hope that the much needed changes in the gun laws in  the USA will now be made.

My share today is two  CAS cards made from a sheet of snowflake paper and greetings from DigiStamp Boutique. The paper is from the Winter Time Sky pack that you can see here  and the sentiments are here - aren't they gorgeous? I  needed to make a batch of quick cards and I managed to make six from one sheet of A4, printed onto linen card. I love the fonts that Sally-Ann has used for the greetings.

As I was making these I was thinking about when I first started making cards and all my stash fitted in a shoe box. Then, as it grew, it moved to a carrier bag, then a trolley of drawers, then two trollies. I dreamed of having my own room. Now I have a room, which I love, crammed full of stuff but what I actually use would fit in a shoe box, lol!!

That's it from me for now, thanks for visiting and I'll be round to see you soon.

Hi Katina.. As a teacher the events in Connecticut must be particularly distressing. simply dreadful for the families involved.

Lovely cards - I like the way you've used the negative card from the snowflake for the second card - very thrifty!

These are fabulous Katina... and very economical!! Well done you!

And I agree about the US tragedy... but did it take all those little lives to change the gun laws that should have been changed long ago after the other terrible things that have happened? I really hope they change it NOW!!!

(Rant over!)
Big Hugs

Hi Katina, I too are just so shocked about the school tragedy. I can't believe that someone could do such a terrible thing and my heart aches for all involved.

I love your cards Katina - so fresh and beautiful.

I did have a good laugh at your storage tales. I am exactly the same - and I am sure many others are too. Why is it that you use 10% of your stash 90% of the time? It's weird and there must be some sort of Einstein theory in there somewhere LOL!!

Wishing you a very happy Christmas Katina and all the best for 2013. Thanks for your fab support this year :-)

I was very sad about the terrible shootings in the US, poor little ones. I worked in a nursery for 2 years and the thought of some mad man doing that just doesn't bare thinking of.
Take care. hugs janex
