Rachel had a fab birthday and is away on a spa weekend with her husband now. Last January, you may remember, I went on a cupcake decorating course with my friend, Linda. You can see what we made here. Linda has progressed so much since then and I asked her if she would make a birthday cake for Rachel. I told her she loves shoes. This is what she came up with!
Isn't it gorgeous! It tasted as good as it looked too. You can see her other creations here.
Dave is out on his work's Christmas night out tonight (better late than never!) so I've got the remote to myself and there's nothing on worth watching - typical, lol!

Ooh this is a gorgeous card Katina! I love Kaisercraft papers and these are scrummy! Love the card shape and those wonderful rolled roses…it's a beautiful card!
and the cake! Wow! I used to do cake making and decorating so know how much work goes into them but it is SO satisfying when you make something special for someone like this. She has created a real masterpiece… absolutely stunning! The cupcakes she has made with snowmen are SO cute too!! :-))

Hi Katina, super card there girl! Ha, when QCME plops onto the front door mat I always scrabble straight through looking to see what you and Jules have been making and you both never disappoint.
NO WAY was my reaction on seeing that fabby cake. it's stunning and hard to believe it's a cake - although the taste test obviously proved the point :)
