More CAS

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good week and are keeping well. So far we've escaped the snow but we are due to get up to 15cm tomorrow. I hope it doesn't last too long! Just a quick post tonight as I want to catch up with what you've been making. My card is one I've made to have in my 'handy to have' box and was inspired by this week's challenge at The Paper Players. This week it's a colour challenge that really was a challenge for me, as it's not a combination I usually use. I've used a butterfly stamp set from Craftwork Cards and although the colours I've used aren't exactly the right shade, I hope they're okay. Sorry about the rubbish photo!

Health update! Dave went for his pre-op on Tuesday and all was well and set for tomorrow. However, when I arrived home this evening there was a message on the answer phone to say it's been cancelled due to a shortage of beds.Hopefully it'll be third time lucky! He has to phone on Monday to get another date. My appointment at the eye hospital was okay. My eye pressure is fine and the drainage channels are fine but my optic nerves are a 'strange shape' that could be due to damage or the way I was born. I've got to go back in a few weeks for another test on my peripheral vision. If that's okay, then it's nothing to worry about. The cataract is still very small so that's being left as it is.

Thanks for visiting and I'll be round to see you soon.

Hi Katina :)

Fab card- I'm really loving CAS atm (gorgeous cards that are easier on the energy levels and brain-power need to pull it all together... win win!!lol) so I love the layout!! That colour combo would've scared me right off but I really like your more muted version so well done for taking on the challenge!! :)
Sorry to hear you and your husband are having such health issues... not fun I know... hope you'll both be doing better soon though!! :)
hugs, Rachel x

Love butterflies so loving this fabulous CAS card!! So sorry to hear your hubby's surgery was delayed - such a pain in the butt especially after you get yourself mentally prepped. Hoping the rebook date is sooner than later. Seems like good news re: your eyes too - hope the second tests proves it :)

Poor Dave, put off again, tell them there is a sale on at Dreams, plenty of beds there.
Yes, it is a strange colour range but you have done really well with this and a lovely card.

Love how you have interpreted this one too. If my version didn't work I was going to opt for something like this.

I am trying to channel your snowy day, while we swelter in 35C heat.
